Review of the New Theatre, Cardiff
Initially, I do not think that I can do better than to write an extract from the Theatre Manager contained in the programme of Autumn/Winter 2006...... ' It was on 10 December 1906 that the New Theatre first opened her doors and she has been entertaining people of Cardiff and South Wales ever since. Though she has seen many changes over the years, one thing has remained constant - the best in entertainment and the friendliest of welcomes. For these and many other reasons, the New is Cardiff's oldest surviving Theatre'. |
