Pub: City Arms

City Arms - great pub!

Everyone in Cardiff knows the City Arms. It’s a class act. It knows what it is and it does what it does brilliantly. You’ll find it just across the road from the Millennium Stadium, off Westgate Street. By day it’s a pleasant, quiet pub, but when there’s a game on in the Stadium and when the weekend arrives, the City Arms comes alive. You won’t find a livelier atmosphere in Cardiff. A top, traditional, Cardiff pub.

Great location – between Westgate Street and St Mary Street, close to the main shopping areas and the city’s other pubs and clubs.

No beer garden as such but there’s tables and chairs on the street outside in the summer – with great views of the Mill Stad.

Stays open late on the weekends.

If you’re visiting Wales’ capital and you want to experience a traditional Cardiff pub – check out the City Arms.
